Berlin, DE— January 10, 2019 caresyntax announced today that they have entered into a strategic partnership with Medizin im Grünen, a surgical training center located about an hour southeast of Berlin. The partnership, signed earlier this month, will supply Medizin im Grünen’s 10 operating rooms with caresyntax’s suite of solutions for the full perioperative workflow, including its digital OR integration platform, PRIME365 for holistic data capture, and qvident, the content management and reporting platform for surgical data review and training.
The project will enable knowledge sharing between the two organizations in their mutual attempts to improve patient safety and clinical performance. Furthermore, this partnership serves as a testimony to the growing impact of surgical coaching and training, and the digital technologies needed to facilitate these initiatives.
Medizin im Grünen is a leading surgical training center of excellence, located just outside Berlin. Utilizing the tranquility of the remote location to focus, medical practitioners from all over Europe go to Medizin im Grünen to train and perfect their skills in both routine and unusual situations. The 10 ORs in the facility are outfitted with all the latest medical technology from the industry’s top manufacturers, including Intuitive Surgical’s DaVinci Robot.
“We are looking forward to bringing added value and insights into the surgical coaching and training use case from a 360 degree perspective,” said Björn von Siemens, Managing Director of caresyntax; “it is an immense achievement to be able to develop our products to serve in the continuous education of surgeons around the world, ultimately improving the quality of care delivered.”
