Martini-Klinik, a project of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Hamburg,Germany, was developed in 2005 exclusively for the treatment and diagnoses of patients with prostate cancer. The Caresyntax system was installed at Martini-Klinik in 2024 with the goal of sharing specialized surgical data from the clinic with hospitals which see a lower volume of prostate cases.
Martini-Klinik provides more radical prostatectomies than any other facility in the world and has the largest group of active surveillance patients in Germany. All eight of the clinic's operating rooms (ORs) are integrated with the Caresyntax system.
In addition to facilitating surgical collaboration, Caresyntax’s vendor-neutral platform provides Martini-Klinik with AI-driven video and data analytics that enhance surgical skills, streamline workflows, and alleviate staff shortages and improve training.
Worldwide, Caresyntax equips more than 4,500 ORs with future-ready, cost-effective surgical solutions designed to grow surgical volume, increase profitability and revolutionize patient care.
In the video, Managing Director Dr. Detlef Loppow and Professor of Urology Dr. Alexander Haese highlight the advantages and capabilities that the Caresyntax platform has presented the clinic since installation, including some of the ways they make use of it during surgical procedures and staff training.
