S·CAPE’s presence at this year’s conhIT exhibition in Berlin featured several important technological advancements. These transition the architecture of the company’s software and hardware solutions towards cutting-edge Internet of Things concepts.
ConhIT, based in Berlin, is a leading Healthcare IT conference in Europe. Visitors to the S·CAPE stand were guided through an end-to-end simulation of the perioperative workflow, enhanced with various caresyntax® medical device integration, automation and telemedicine solutions. At each stage, from admissions to post-procedural documentation, the company demonstrated in action how its solutions improve patient throughput, increase attention to patients, and facilitate clinical knowledge management.
In the spotlight were several caresyntax® solutions that are foundational to S·CAPE’s proprietary smart hospital network architecture, based on Internet of Things principles.
For example, S·CAPE exhibited a highly anticipated caresyntax® surgical video-over-IP solution. This is designed to intelligently transmit surgical content in ubiquitous and easy-to-maintain data protocol. The data then converges with the rest of the IT infrastructure and enables even remote maintenance that can ensure operating room uptime. In addition to these newly acquired capabilities, the firm also provided objective real-time comparison to conventional solutions on the market. It proved that its solution is both robust in helping surgeons to view zero-latency video content with up to 4K resolutions, and also in providing nursing personnel with important workflow benefits such as universal connectors of medical devices and their automatic recognition by the PRIME365 platform.
These innovations exhibit S·CAPE’s vision of using technology enhancements to turn hospital procedure rooms into truly smart, safe, and comfortable workplaces for clinicians.
